The TRBO Summer Tournament is an annual tournament that falls on the 2nd weekend after Memorial Day. It is a high school level tournament that raises funds to support the local high school feeder program. Through this tournament we are able to provide financial assistance to families in need, provide education & support to high school coaches & their staffs, as well as offset equipment costs for high school programs & their feeder teams.
2017 Tournament Information
Who: Boys & Girls Teams High School level & Middle School Level
When: June 10-11
Where: Eugene/Springfield Area Schools
We have options that fit your needs & allow for some flexibility.
4 games (2 per day): $190 for first team, $175 per team if you enter 2 teams, $150 per team if you enter 3 teams.
One day 3 games: $160
One day 2 games: $115

TRBO is a non-profit that works alongside high school programs to offer year around basketball opportunities for young people of all grades and of all skill abilities. Our purpose is to support and alleviate the time demands placed on high school coaches.
Our summer league is a give-back to the girls high school coaches. We do the work & organization at a minimal cost. We also allow our summer league to be designed by the local high school coaches. It is dictated by the wants and needs of the high school summer league participants.
Organization of TRBO Summer League:
Tuesday = Silver League (6A/5A/4A JV; 3A/2A/1A Varsity) June 6, 13, 20, 27
Wednesday = Gold League (6A/5A/4A Varsity) June 7, 14, 21, 28
Thursday = Bronze League (2A/1A Varsity, JV2, 9th grade & youth teams) June 8, 15, 22, 29
NO GAMES from May 30-June 2 so teams can focus on practice
2 games per play day. Total of 8 games.
Rotation of local high school programs hosting
ADMISSION: $3 (All proceeds go to the hosting high school)
8 game league = $240
Include the tournament June 10-11, cost for 8 game league + tourney = $380
You can also pay at the pro-rated cost of $75 per day/2 games
Game Time Examples:
5:15, 6:15, 7:15, 8:15
5:00, 6:00, 7:00, 8:00
5:30, 6:30, 7:30
Rules (TBD according to high school coaches desires):
- 22 minute running clock halves.
- If within 15 points last 3 minutes, stop clock.
- No player fouls kept, just teams.
- 5 timeouts per game
- NFHS High School rules
What we need from hosting HS Coach:
- Provide access to their gym (Host games for at least one week)
- Organize volunteers to run the clock
- Organize volunteers to take admission
